The countryside is one of our greatest assets and with a large amount of people work and visit it each year accidents are bound to occur.
Countryside Safety Management is concerned with all aspect's of safety within the countryside. Taking into account all types of occupation's, sport's and hobbies.
Countryside Safety Management is offering a "No Frills" approach to health and safety. It is commited to help reduce accidents within the countryside and keep people safe.
Countryside Safety Management is looking to help and assist with the following:
Liase with customers and governing bodies to help explain current health and safety legislation
Write safety policies
Risk assessment including young person risk assessments
Accident/incident investigations and reports
12 monthly safety audits
Safe system of work policies
Any other services concerning health and safety
In the countryside between 1994/95 - 2004/05 489 people lost their lives, in which 64 were members of the public . 32 of these were children under the age of 16.
The main causes were:
Transport
Falls from height
Struck by moving or falling objects
Asphyxiation
Trapped by something collapsing or over turning
Contact with machinery
Livestock related injuries
- Contact with electricity
